Summer Camp with the Beloved

     July 12-17, 2023

Echo Basin Ranch, Mancos CO

                 With Bernie, Sky & Friends

       special guests Scott and Shanti Medina

Schedule, more or less: Opening circle Wednesday at 7pm, closing circle Sunday evening; take down and pack Tent Monday morning. You are welcome to arrive Tuesday to help with set up on Wednesday. Each full day will include Deeper Dance conversation, morning and evening Dance sessions, kirtan and qigong with Scott and Shanti Medina, musical and contemplative afternoon offerings, more Kirtan, and our infamous clothing exchange, bazaar and Rumi Café on Saturday.

Cost: $90-$150/person, as you can afford, through June 30. Starting July 1, minimum is $120. 

Part time attendees $35/day, and you must pre-register.  No onsite registrations.

Dogs are welcome, on leash; owners must sign up for a poop-patrol slot during the retreat.

Refunds, minus a $25 admin fee, are available through July 4. Starting July 5, no refunds. 

Public Dance: Thursday evening, 7pm; $20/person minimum. 

No drop ins at other sessions, please.

We ask everyone who is attending to be cautious of their interactions with people for a week before arriving, to wear a mask in crowded indoor situations and to consider increasing your supplement intake for that week (especially Vitamins C and D, and zinc) and gargling with Listerine after social engagements. Please do not attend sessions if you are feeling ill or have symptoms.

Lodging/Camping: There are cabins and RV spaces, either of which can be reserved and paid for by calling Tom Carr at Echo Basin, 970-533-7000. Camping (tents or small rigs that can dry camp) is $10/person/night, payable to Tom on arrival; a bath house with toilets and showers is onsite and we will bring in portapotties as well. There are motels and airb’n’bs in Mancos, the closest town.

Meals: On your own. We will set up our outdoor kitchen with cook stoves, dishes, pots and pans and a dishwashing station.
